....., in Schönbrunn als "Bobby" bekannt, wurde 1951 in Leicester, Großbritannien, geboren. Er kam im Jahre 1972 nach Österreich ohne Kenntnis der deutschen Sprache und besuchte Schönbrunn zum ersten Mal als Tourist. Damals konnte er nicht ahnen, dass er bereits 1974 als Guide und später in der Leitung der Schauräume des Schlosses beschäftigt sein würde.
Nach mehr als 38 Dienstjahren in Schönbrunn kann er mit Recht sagen, mehr Zeit im Schloss verbracht zu haben als die meisten seiner kaiserlich-königlichen Bewohner.
....., known in Schönbrunn as "Bobby" was born in Great Britain in the city of Leicester in 1951. He came to Austria in 1972 with no knowledge of German and visited Schönbrunn for the first time as a tourist. At that time he could not have imagined that he would be employed as a guide as early as 1974, and then in the administration of the Imperial Apartments of the Palace.
After working in Schönbrunn for more than thirty-eight years he can certainly say that he has spent more time in the Palace than most of its Imperial-Royal inhabitants.
